Both in human and in animal health, the main function of glyconutrients, when attached to proteins, is to facilitate communication between cells. Glycoscience is the study of carbohydrates / sugars and their biological functions. The eight (8) sugars or saccharides which we mention on this Corpet newsletter, are needed to communicate between cells and knowledge of its interaction, which is vital for the detection of cellular degeneration and subsequent impact on health. In Corpet News N° 2 we focus on immunonutrition with Mushrooms: the function of Glyconutrients.

A poster presentation in Ponta Delgada, Açores, at the "XXIV° Meeting with the Veterinary Doctors of Macaronésa", by Dr. Girão Bastos entitled "Tumors in Pets" (Cats and Dogs): prevention using mushroom nutrition.

Corpet is manufactured in the United Kingdom by Mycology Research Laboratories, Ltd, in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices(GMP).

Clinical tests carried out with Coriolus Versicolor as an immunonutrient on 36 patients with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome evidenced a 35% increase in NK (Natural Killer Cells) activity. The significant development in NK (Natural Killer Cells) is explained by the activity of the enzymes contained in Corpet.

Corpet has been tested in normal toxicity tests.

The following bulletin provides information on the make up, correct dosage and clinical development of Corpet on small animals.
