Quality Standards

Processing is carried out under the same rigorously controlled conditions that are applied to the manufacture of conventional pharmaceuticals (ISO 22000:2018 certified) in the EU. The result is a standardised whole mushroom to form a finely ground powder (certified organic to EU and UK standards) that is either the final product or further processed into tablets (500 mg) (FSSC 22000 certified) in the Netherlands.
The choice of binder and additives used in manufacture render these tablets suitable for vegan and health diet use.

The abstract was presented on February 5th, 2018 at the 48th Annual Meeting of the Portuguese Society of Pharmacology. The abstract suggests Coriolus versicolor biomass has a positive effect in the hippocampal neurogenic reserve. Furthermore, there is unexplored neurogenic potential of Coriolus versicolor biomass supplementation, as a possible preventive strategy for different neurological conditions.
